Star 94’s Jenn Hobby Hosts 5th Annual "Ring the Bell Benefit" to Support Childhood Cancer Research
8/27/2024
Marietta, GA (August 27, 2024) – Star 94 is proud to announce the return of the 5th Annual Ring the Bell Benefit, a family-friendly event raising funds for childhood cancer research. The benefit will be held on Wednesday, September 11th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Glover Park Brewery in Marietta, GA.
"Ringing the bell" signifies the completion of cancer treatment for many children. This event stands with those who are still fighting for their chance to ring their own bell.
"We're excited to bring back the Ring the Bell Benefit for another year," says Jenn Hobby, on-air host at Star 94. "This event is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate hope, raise awareness, and support critical research for childhood cancer. Pediatric cancer research simply does not receive the money it deserves."
The evening promises to be a fun and meaningful experience for all ages. Guests can enjoy a large silent auction, engaging kids' activities, and a touching program. All proceeds will benefit Reese's Magic Fund, named after Jenn Hobby's daughter. The fund supports childhood cancer research at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the MaGIC Consortium. In just eight years, Reese’s Magic Fund has raised more than $540,000 to support solid tumor research and the MaGIC Consortium’s efforts.
Generous sponsors for the Ring the Bell Benefit include Voyles Automotive, Pooles Pharmacy, Dallas Prescription Shop, Mellow Mushroom Kennesaw, The Rambo Family, Gas South, Ansley Real Estate Christie's International, Affinity Home Lending and Glover Park Brewery. Tickets and donations can be made online at CHOA.org/ringthebell or Star94.com. Join Star 94 and help make a difference in the lives of children battling cancer!
