Gas South Named “Top Workplace” by USA Today

ATLANTA, Ga. (May 13, 2024) – USA TODAY has just named Gas South a “Top Workplace” for 2024 to recognize the outstanding culture and values the organization upholds for its employees. This is the first time the company has been recognized as a premier workplace on a national level.
“While Gas South has earned several regional accolades, this national recognition marks a significant milestone for us,” said Kevin Greiner, president and CEO. “I’m honored to see Gas South receive this award knowing it’s directly from our employees and their appreciation for the culture and values we’ve created and are committed to improving every day.
More than 2,000 employers participated in the USA Today Top Workplace survey about the quality of their organization to create this ranking. According to the survey data, 90% of employees think Gas South operates with strong values and is headed in the right direction.
“Gas South knows people are our greatest asset, both our customers and our employees, so we know it’s important to do our best to take care of those who take care of us,” said Solomon Jordan, vice president of Human Resources.
Gas South employs individuals from 10 states nationwide. The company strives to Be A Fuel For Good with 2023 efforts including at least three active employee resource groups, more than 1,270 volunteer hours logged, and $4.5M philanthropic dollars given to support nonprofits serving children and families throughout Georgia and Florida.

Gas South has also been named a Top Workplace in Atlanta by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution for three consecutive years.
